The audio guide system was developed to help museum staff streamline operations—allowing visitors to conduct self-guided tours. Upon arrival, each visitor receives a tablet with headphones. We created an audio guide application in which the museum space is divided into separate themes. By activating a theme, visitors can listen to the corresponding audio recording. Each theme includes exhibits with photos. By selecting an exhibit within the app, visitors can view its image(s), listen to the audio narration, or read the transcript.
The application also features an integrated quiz, allowing visitors to test their knowledge. This tool works well for both individual visitors and groups, enabling quiz-style competitions to see who answers best.
The audio guide system was designed with flexibility in mind—it allows for the addition of new exhibits, updates to texts or audio recordings, and the creation or modification of quiz questions.
