As part of the project, a second museum exhibition was installed titled “From Plough to Ship‘s wheel: Maritime Lithuania 1900–1940.” The exhibition consists of four halls.
During the project, the Hopro team created digital content including: “talking” portrait photographs of historical figures, a video montage of soil ploughing, the reconstruction and animation of a 3D model of the historic ship Šiauliai, an interactive 3D game, and interactive quizzes. Realistic background sounds of the ship’s port were also produced.
One of the most popular interactive installations in the exhibition is the smart mirror for trying on a sailor’s uniform. Visitors can “wear” the selected uniform, take a photo, and send it to their email.
The exhibition also integrates transparent glass technology LCD screens, rotary hologram displays, custom-made furniture with plastered concrete façade walls, as well as designed decorations and display cases.
