This museum was established in former administrative premises. The project scope included demolition and removal of temporary partitions, followed by basic renovation of the space.

The museum exhibition features exceptionally large lightboxes displaying portraits of police officers. This format of lightbox adds a sense of dignity and respect to the exhibition space.

The display stands out for its abundance of LCD screens, which present themed photo collages, demonstration videos, and textual information.

Each theme in the exhibition is accompanied by information terminals (tablet computers) containing structured visual and textual material on the specific topic. The exhibition space avoids excessive visible wall-printed text, in order to prevent information overload that can often hinder the visitor’s learning experience.

A dignified atmosphere is created through the use of black design elements and wall prints, combined with warm-tone lighting and birch veneer display cases. Integrated directional exhibition lighting highlights the displayed exhibits.

The exhibition includes a virtual reality (VR) experience featuring several video films created specifically for this museum. The films depict an ARAS (Special Operations Unit) raid and arrest operation, as well as a canine handler and his specially trained dog apprehending an illegal fugitive.

A distinctive experience is provided through the use of transparent LCD screen technology, which tells the sensitive story of the organised murder of Sergejus Piskunovas, Head of the Economic Crimes Investigation Division at the Pasvalys District Police Commissariat.

One of the most popular attractions for visitors is an interactive mirror, which allows them to virtually try on police uniforms.
