In Dzūkija, we created a modern and contemporary visitor centre. Using new technologies and decorative elements, it presents the unique value of the Čepkeliai Reserve.
The exhibition integrates a fullwall projection system that shows a video clip about the reserve’s territory and its uniqueness.
The display cases feature intricate models of insects, fungi, and plants, which visitors can examine up close, press a button, and watch a visual presentation. This installation incorporates round LCD screens that aesthetically complement the exhibition and save space. This is the first exhibition in Lithuania where we have integrated such round screens.
In the naturalist’s tent, visitors can observe, through a monocular, a family of Great Grey Owls in their nest, Capercaillie courtship displays, or Black Grouse fights.
To depict the formation of the bog, a sixpart 3D model was created, illustrating the developmental stages from the Ice Age to the present day.
