  • Integrated sign language
  • Audio guide for visually impaired visitors

A new interactive audio guide system was introduced at the “Bulotai House,” a branch of the Marijampolė Regional and President Kazys Grinius Museum. For visitor convenience, two foreign languages (English and Polish) were integrated, along with accessibility features for hearing and visually impaired guests, including a sign language version and a tactile exhibit exploration module.

Visitors can comfortably explore the museum spaces and its most valuable exhibits using the audio guide—no additional staff is required for the tour.

One of the system’s standout features is the ability to view 3D models. We performed photogrammetric scanning of selected museum artifacts and transferred the most interesting ones into a 3D environment. This enhancement adds extra value for visitors, allowing them to rotate and examine the spatial models from all angles.

The audio guide system is installed on 7″ tablet devices. Audio recordings can be listened to via headphones or speakers. Multiple visitors can use a single device simultaneously to listen together. The tablets can also be used for educational activities and training sessions beyond the audio guide experience.
