The Bulotai House Museum was designed and installed with the modern visitor in mind. The museum spaces are adapted for visitors of all age groups and educational activities. All areas are free from excessive information or text, featuring subtle stylistic accents that reflect the lifestyle of a wealthy interwar-era homeowner and their family.
The exhibition combines contemporary technologies with interwar interior details and color schemes. To accurately recreate the interwar atmosphere within the museum, the project involved experienced specialists and experts in period interior design.
The HoPro team carried out a full-cycle museum installation—from concept to completion. Visitors explore history through interactive experiences. Some of these include: active glass technology, holographic display cases, interactive audio and video installations, and a shadow theater installation. With the help of an audio guide, the exhibition and its most valuable artifacts can be explored in five languages, including sign language.
Special attention was given to younger audiences—most display cases feature integrated games for children. The exhibition is also adapted for visitors with visual impairments through the inclusion of tactile exhibits.
